Question about wiring loom
« on: 21 April 2009, 21:06:27 »

After removing the back seat for some good old hoovering I found underneathh the rubber protective cover two plugs (one male ,one female) with at least 6 wires in each. What are they? could some be for the rear shelf speakers I did have in my pre-facelift CDX but not in my mini face lift (CDX). Any ideas? :question

Thanks for replies...would the wiring for the rear shelf speakers be in the loom somewhere as I would like to use amp and speakers in the boot.

I don't think the wiring will be present on a CDX (it's not on mine) as rear shelf speakers only fitted with the Bose system on Elite models.

I did have a cdx pre-facelift before with the speakers and rear blind, this is why I am thinking perhaps the wires are in place somewhere..

No, the loom won't be in place.

If its Bose your after, any of the breakers on the site should be able to supply all you need (all speakers need to be replaced, HU replaced, shelf fitted etc), including the replacement CD Changer loom that runs down the drivers side of car for the bose amp/speakers.
