Problems fitting bose to my MV6

Hi all, i spent yesterday putting the bose speakers,loom and headunit into my 99 mv6, problem is now that i have no sound, when i turn it on the radio scrolls throught the fm channels unable to find one, i have put the fuse for the bose in and still no better,i have tried an aftermarket headunit in aswell, same issue. Have i forgottwn to put something else in?

what about the amplifier al?

and you have to get the HU techII'd to accept the BOSE

the headunit i got has bose printed on it, do i still need it reprogrammed if its in another car?

Have you fitted the Bose amp and loom?

The lack of FM reception points to a poor aerial connection, check the cage, the plags are also prone to breaking.

possibly to pair up with the MID/GID. did you fit the amp though?

only paring needed on facelifts NCDC etc

i hope your fitting a CCR800 not a CCRT700! you have some fun if its a 700!

its the philips bose that looks like the car 600, loom and amp are fitted, its now working with not great radio reception, thinking my aerial has a poor connection as someone has suggested, signal comes and goes but all speakers are working, cheers for the help guys!!

Probably the connector at back of radio failed - they can't take too much stretching and straining
