Philips Car 400 Aux input

Im thinking about putting this back in the car so I can use the steering wheel controls as I listen to the radio most of the time but now and again I listen to my own stuff so wanted to know if this unit has an AUX input so I can plug in my mp3 player?

Mine is in storage somewhere and I thought it'd be easier to ask than to dig it and take a look.

Depends which version of CAR400 you have.

Theoretically possible on the version that ran the CD changer if you can fool the unit into thinking a changer is connected.

Not a chance if you do not have changer capability.

and the audio in for the phone/TM is lo-fi mono only...

its back to cassette adapters or fm modulators

you can get steering wheel control adaptors for aftermarket headunits  auto leads do them depends on your headunit my alpine is wired upto the remote controls on wheel

If you want to go down the aftermarket route, we can certainly supply the steering adaptors needed

Dont really want to go the steering adapter route, cant justify the cost. FM modulator is an option as it cost much less but what about the sound quality? Can I use the steering wheel controls when listening to mp3's?
