Telematic unit
« on: 08 June 2009, 14:34:28 »

Hi all can anyone tell me if you have to tech2 these out of donor car to yours or can you just put one in and activate it via "My Naff Code Reader" or tech2 ?
I have the chance of buying one but didn't want to waste money if I couldn't get it fitted as my car is a Vectra c

Cheers Don

They are indeed coded to the head unit so need de-pairing before removal to get them into a delivery state

Cheers Marks would anyone on here be able to read the code from it ? or is it useless without this code.
Or i might be able to ask the guy if he has the car pass for the security code but could it be decoded once its left the car

Not worked out a way to de-pair these yet.

Also not found a way to decode them once removed!

I believe I **may** be able to if you have the original pairing code, though I haven't actually tested the process
