Hi all does anyone know if the 0BD II usb cable will work on 0BD I software :y

Paperclip? Will only do engine ECU though.

Not sure what systems the original Tech1 talked to on the 95 cars.
Opelscanner will do the job but is a bit OTT for your needs.

my tech 1 does al the systems on my early one and a couple of things like inlet air temp, that tech 2 doesnt!! however after 97/98 its very limited to what it can read!!

Omegatoy-thats because the later ecu (that was around when t2 came out didn't have air temp ;).  iirc, t2 can't read 214/5 td ecus at all....

"My Naff Code Reader" claims a lot of things, but doesn't entirely live up to its promises sadly.  Amd be particularly careful around key programming and ncdc pairing - it does make a mess of it, sometimes a t2 can fix, sometimes not.

And at £600, bloody waaayyyy overpriced

allobdtool is really cheap on those com units, and the one i have ordered was working great:)
But for immo coding i would not try them. expencive thing to mess with...
Remember nearly all those 3rd party interfaces comes from china. some are sold for 100$ some for 600$ they really cost under 10$ to make since its a chip and a cable. its the sw in your computer that does the work:)
