Missus is on the phone with them.  It's gonna end up in small claims court to cancel service at this rate.  We're out of contract too.

Just had an email today telling me they are increasing the broadband service to 10meg..

No problems with them so far, I started when they were called Telewest..

Yeah, that's starting late this year and rolling out through 2009.  We started on NTL, always been a pain.  Expensive, channels lost since Sky tantrum, box is a total POS, tinternet is far slower than the 1Mbps it should be, and on and on.

These days there isn't much on, and almost everything that is watchable is also on Freeview.  We are moving to somewhere that should get Freeview so then little point in cable.  Only thing to sort out then is broadband.

We were originaly with Virgin before they were taken over by NTL.....since the take over the service quality has dropped and we have been moved onto a different server which is dog slow.....

It's a lot of money for not a lot more than Freeview, and the NTL box is a heap of junk.  They also restructured the menu when it went to Virgin and now it is a pain to use.  Once we will be able to get Freeview, then no point keeping Virgin.

Broadband isn't a patch on BT.  BT is more expensive , but worth not wanting to throw the computer out of the window several times a night.

Don't give a toss about the phone either way.  Have a mobile.
