Replacing Blown Dash Bulbs
« on: 01 March 2010, 11:46:08 »

Hi Everyone

I have been having a hunt to see if this topic has been covered and have been unable to find it so far, so apologies if it's been covered somewhere. I found lots on the topic of blue LED's though! :D

The dash bulbs behind my rev counter have blown and would really like to replace them. Can someone give me an easy guide on how to reach them please and what sort of bulbs they are, so I can buy them in advance.

Many thanks!

there is a post some were but eay to do, take of the events in the middel with flat head on the turn dial prise them out( the vents only) then in side there is to cross heads remove them, on sterring wheel black cover turn the wheel to left or right you will see a screw cover take that off, cross head screw same othere side, then pull off the top then tere is a screw there under the dash remove that, on left side were the dash fin on that side is a screw undo that then pull form left side and pull plug of the back of the mid then comes out fit in revers. :y

Thanks for that, will give it a go at the weekend. When I have removed the screw hidden behind the vents, and removed the screw at the top of the steering column, will the dash just prise out then?

Thanks again

Thanks for the help! Will try to give it a go at the weekend, as I am hoping my new cruise stalk will have turned up too by then. Kill two birds with one stone. Thanks again
