Glow Plug Question???

Right I know that I have a glow plug problem, due to a friend (Works for the RAC) did a fault check and it came up GLOW PLUG ERROR. (EML on for 30 seconds after cold starting)

I have just done a resistance check on all glow plugs and here are the readings

Cylinders from front of engine...

Cyl 1 = 24.3 ohms
Cyl 2 = 1.6 ohms
Cyl 3 = 0.4 ohms
Chl 4 = 0.2 ohms

Right the question is have I got 3 plugs knackered or 1 plug knackered?? (2.2dti Engine)

I would guess that you just have one knackered glowplug on No 1 cyl.
Without opening Trade club I don't know which plugs your car takes, but if you look ay my post re my diseasal Astra, my good plugs had a resistance of around 0.6 Ohms but the failed one was 60something Ohms.

I might as well replace the full set so that I know they are all reliable.

Does this look a good price or would anyone suggest a good place to buy them...

Mine was £9-95 on Trade Club from Vauxhall.  ;)

so 20 ltrs for  £32.67  which retail would cost £103.60  (exc VAT)

with VAT  thats £38.39 against  £121.73 ....  :)

My local dealers also give me a discount of around 8% on non-tradeclub items .. :)
