CID help please

Asked this in General help got no replies .. so repeating it here .. in desperation !

Removing clocks panel to replace a bulb..


Got the screws all out, and the large plug off the back of the CID, but cannot work out how to release the small plug ??? Fingers now bleeding copiously so advice or blood transufusion ???

It has one of those cam type tabs on it.....you need to get your finger nail under the bottom edge of it and pull it upwards

Thanks for that ... still couldn't get it with finger nails .. which are now mostly broken !.... so took steering wheel shroud off, this enabled me to rotate the clocks "face up", could then get a jewellers screwdriver in and ping it away .... now about to refit the panel .. without CID !! to drive to dealers to get correct bulbs !!

Yup .. they have given me wrong ones .. :(
