question..i have a 2000 reg mini-face 3.0l mv6 saloon fitted with a ccr600 unit with a bluepoint cdc2. this has steering wheel controls.
i also have a sc804 unit with a philips cdc1, this also had an amp in the boot (W8Y) type so 1601, no steering wheel controls. this came from a 97 3.0l elite saloon.
would it be possible to fit the sc804,cdc1 & amp into the mv6?.

You can, but the question has got to be , WHY ?

The SC804 is an older model that is not compatable with the steering controls, and even Noah has moved on from the now obsolete CDC1.

If you are thinking simply of the amp, then its probably possible to hook that up to the CCR600 although the benefits would be fairly negligable with respect to the work involved.

I`m all for upgrading, but I don`t see any beneficial reasoning behind this one I`m afraid

Running a full set of cables through the car, connecting to stereo and speaker loom, power from battery, and then hoping that the speakers will cope with the extra power after all these years.

If going to that effort, change for a decent aftermarket amp with a bit more oomph and replace speakers also and that way you can retain the originality of the head unit.
