I find it very useful to open out the wiring loom and trace the wires against the supplied wiring diagram (which can also be downloaded from the website listed in the Tools Required Thread ), using a little masking tape at the ends with the connection required marked.

Then it's onto the preparation of the manifold. If you have a spare it can be done in advance, which saves a lot of time when the car is in bits and not drivable. There are pictures of both V6 and 4 pot manifolds in this thread to show the very minor differences

Grind a little flat to start with.



Drill the hole, starting small and opening out to 5mm.

Clean up around the back of the hole so the nozzle has somewhere to seat.



Insert the nozzle with a little threadlock (permanent Lock and Seal as seen in these pictures is best). A 3mm drill bit or allen key helps with alignment to avoid cross-threading.





Clean up the area around the nozzle to help airflow.





One down, five (three) to go.





Repeat for the other 5(3) nozzles and you should end up with something like this.





And this is the re-assembled manifold. You may want to use the petrol injectors and FPR from your own car







Smooth off and clean up the face of the manifold, especially where the gasket seals.





You need to cut 6 (4) equal lengths of Rubber LPG Injector pipe and attach to the nozzles because you can't reach to do this when the manifold is back in situ. Remember that the plenum sits out quite a way and there needs to be room to mount the injector rail etc Wink You can always cut these down (by equal amounts) later Thumbs Up!

... which is why anyone who says that the manifold can be drilled in situ needs to be given a very wide berth
