I'm sure the amber light was off and I'm still 99.9% confident I went on green.
nothing to worry about then - the picture will show it.

If you were in the wrong, and you get fined/points, then thats fair.  If you weren't, and the photo evidence shows that, then you'll be in the clear :)

Makes me laugh, we all make mistakes and we know these rather speed cameras are about, but, when we get flashed we all scream and shout, its our fault that they flash, we are speeding or jumping lights, not the camera.
I know there are arguments about the rights and wrongs of them but, do the crime, expect the fine...simple.

I know James thinks he may or may not have crossed the line, lets hope it was the other bloke who got flashed, its not very often these pieces of equipment get it wrong.

the thing is with these machines doing the job of trained traffic officers is that if someone moved of slightly early without actually causing any danger to others a traffic cop may well pull them over and make them feel like a naughty schoolboy and then send them on their way (lesson learnt) whereas the increasing problem of outlaws with false plates/no tax/insurance/mot/dangerous faults etc is not solvable by the machine but a good traffic cop can smell them from a mile away :(

Thats as maybe, but the law has to be pretty black and white.  If someone is punished for breaking the rules, that (in my book) is fair...

Problem is, lessons are not learnt, a fine and 3 points hammers it home.......keep doing it and the licence goes, you can tick someone off many times without any notice being taken.

i agree with you to a point tb apart from anything else we should include observation of cameras in our everyday driving routine nowadays,i just think that the roads would actually be safer and the motoring population feel less persecuted if we went back to the days of  a trained cop being able to use his judgement and experience rather than a machine which has no leeway at all but still cant catch most of the really dangerous idiots on the roads.
