'dream 21' LPG systems
« on: 27 February 2008, 14:21:11 »

does anyone have much knowlege on these? (will trawl the net for any info there while waiting for replies :y)

a local company tells me they can do me a multipoint with 100L tank for £1250, fitted, tested and certified and this also includes a courtesy car

I think this is a mixer system they were talking about and not SGi (what are the differences please??)

what are the issues with mixer systems that put everyone off using them? and also, are non-mixers cheaper/dearer?

(Edit - searches on net are showing Dream 21 as a SGI)

Dream sounds like OMVL

I have some experience with the 4 pot version of OMVL kits - VERY good kit.

It's almost certain to  be SGI, and the price is competitve for a certified install.

Or DIY it using the voltran kit for £700? like I did...

The OMVL injectors are not very reliable the kit James aquired had a duff injector.

Some other makes are more relaible but a lot more expensive Prinz appears to be best.

Go for the same system as James

Last year none, this year over £100 but due to 2 years NCD and 3 points for keeping my mouth shut it is still cheapest even though I am being ripped off >:(
