impressive list and car  :y  but why estate ?

Some of us prefer estates Cem.  :D ;D :y

I have the general idea that estates are for transporting a family and large baggages.. not for performance.. :-/

Not serious performance no, but it adds extra grin factor out dragging FWD shit boxes with a couple of dogs in the back.

Remember being tailgated in the estate, call to dogs, they wake up look out the back window, floor it, and bye bye!

I really should train them to put their paws up and wave  ;D

An Omega, estate or saloon, is not and will never be a performance car  :y Just too heavy and big, you'd need +500 hp to get it going like a sport car and even then it would never handle like one.

OP, very nice car indeed. Is the supercharger kit still available?

Oooh, I dunno, Volvo made a good go of it in the 90's with there first foray into BTCC didn't they....?

Wow that's one awesome mega!

I am not sure I agree with the whole 'Omega's aren't performance cars thing', true it's not their original intent but of course they can be made to be. If people are throwing the 'no they aren't' argument in because of their sheer size it's worth noting that these cars have very good weight distribution and my estate (ok it's an Omega-A, not B) weighs in at 1435kgs with the boat anchor of a straight 6 under the bonnet... which compared to some modern sports cars ain't too shabby.
