FM adapters or cassette adapters were not offered as the question was 'Aux input on CCRT700' ;)

And it wouldnt really be fair of me to try to sell something from my store with every reply I give - You don`t need to do much searching on this forum to find out about how poor the other FM modulators are, and how well mine have been received.

The fact that other members are pointing you at them and offering unbiased recommendations speaks volumes

(thanks for that  :y)

Why not buy an iTrip like I just did, there made by Griffin.

Plug into ipod, tune your radio in and set it as a preset station in the memory.

Hey presto, listen to your ipod through the vauxhall radio.

Even transmits the track name onto the MID display.

£30 delivered from amazon.

Nice touch to transmit the track data, but still a very poor quality FM modulator though. I don`t know how these fare on the Omega, but I`m hearing some really bad reviews on other Marques

But are these FM modulators stereo?

All the research I have made suggests they are mono (as to get FM Stereo reception requires the FM L+R transmission AND the AM supressed carrier L-R and hence is much more complex and harder to implement)

you are quite right, 99% of them are indeed mono, but a few of the better ones coming out now are indeed stereo - unsure about the ones broadcasting extra data though - never looked into those

Works fine as far as my ears allow, itrips have been sold for a few years, griffin especially get good reviews for ease of use.

Literally plugs into modern ipods, didn't work on my ipod video 5th generation mind, due to pin out issues on older models, but works a treat on my ipod touch.

Least then because its portable, you can use it in multi cars and any where you like through a radio.

Cant be any better or worse than picking up any old radio station.

Id like to think you could link up DAB to the standard radio at some point.

I have an iTrip, and its 'OK' but there are far better modulators out there.  I believe mine's mono as well.  I have to turn on Airplane Mode on my gayPhone to use it with that, otherwise its abysmal.
