dash problem can any one help?

my speedo, rev gauge and fuel gauage all stoped working but the temp was still working for about amin the they all started working again and this happens maybe once every couple of weeks any ideas?? its an expolice car with a calibrated speedo so i dont want to ditch the guages and get some more second hand ones and also mine are surprising low mileage for a police car 83500  1994 3.0 v6

Sounds like its not fully home - try removing it (howto on here) give plugs/connectors a squirt of contact cleaner, and refit and reseat  :y

does any one no what digital screen is needed for a early omega its got the full size screen with out the split down the middle if that helps (the digital bits are split but not plastic line to split them up if you no what i mean)

Reseat dash - press back firmly on rev counter.

MID - old style (yellow and black plugs) tend to loose lines of pixels. Fitting new style (grey plug) isn't quite plug and play.  Either type needs to have right config for your car.
