just had to move the car and it sounded like it was sucking air .It was, the air box has come adrift from its mountain brackets all 3 of them ?and pulled the MAF out (think its called that), and to top it off my spinal surgeon has just phoned to express his disappointment in my decision not to let him operate on me, Well would you with a 93% chance of ending up in wheel chair for the rest of my life. To$$er what
did he expect me to say

Quick update
one of the  surgeons under studies has just been in touch to try again to convince me to have surgery. At least this chap was honest to the reasons why they want to operate, they want to "learn" My problem is rare and they don't come across it very often . what am i a lab experiment . Its still no unless they can give me better odds

Zippo. Get as many oppinions as possible as to your problem.
Don't take what the surgeon says as gospel.
You may be surprized matey.
In the mean time, you've the right attitude- positive.
