Cheap Laptop
« on: 13 March 2008, 14:51:11 »

I want a cheap laptop, new or 2nd hand.

As long as it's capable of running Windows and IE 6 I really don't care about the spec. It's purely for forum surfing and music in the bath  ::)

Needs to have a usb port, OR PCMCIA slots, and Ideally a Lan port.

Let me know if anyone has any recommendations or knows of anything :y

Getting my self a Asus EEE 701 this week, to upgrade from my O2 XDA Exce, tiny but a "real" lappy

£250 :)

idea for me at work, e-mail, surfing, IM, and MS Office apps

http://eeepc.asus.com/global/product.htm

Add a 120gb USB HD and I'm on a winner

Its actually fairly difficult to drop it in - lets face it, I'm on here regularly whilst in the bath, and its been an awful long time since one has fallen in....
