oil cooler
« on: 09 December 2011, 14:22:49 »

had a coolant leak for quite a while, followed some advice for a change from dlk and low and behold the thermostat is not the culprit but the oil cooler plate.

i assume i have the modified exchanger unit made of stainless pt no 90 572 067.

question is, whats the best sealant to use for the cooler cover?, cam cover gaskets are on the shopping list with gm sealant (black?), can i use this or another sealant.

dont what to do the job again for a while.

thanks
