Drives me mental
« on: 20 November 2011, 22:59:09 »

Went out for dinner with the family earlier on, so thought I'd take the 7 series as it's biggest, parked it right out of the way from all of the other cars, about a 40ft gap from any other spaces, sounds odd, but the car park is strange. Parked up at 7pm, seated and was eating a started by half 7. Finished meals & puddings, come out around half 9, walk to the car to find a huge scrape all the way along the back door, all up the rear quarter panel, and the back bumper not sitting right, to say I'm annoyed would be an understatement.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

I think some people must believe in safety in numbers when they park up! I've done the same as you, park as far away from the crowd as I can, & someone ALWAYS parks that close to your side of the door that you have to squeeze in the door to get in! ??? ???
Use 2 spaces in future!  :y :y

Sorry to hear that Del.  :(

Some drivers are unbelievable. A few years ago mine was the only car in our local 24hr Tesco's car park at around 2am. When I came out ten minutes later a car had parked so close to mine I had to get in via the passenger door.

Edit: My local Tesco car park must easily have spaces for around a thousand vehicles.

Worst I ever had was a car so close I could not open the door, other side was lamp post, so I forced my door open into the moronmobile until I could open the window, leant through - handbrake off and pushed it out of the spot.

I managed to open my drivers door to a tight fit on my arm - and denting the other car to do it with my bum and door.

I think the gap was about 9 to 12 inches :o :o :o :o

I'm sorry to hear that Del - it's a prime example of the gutless, irresponsible oppsers running around nowadays. >:(

I've seen enough violence in my time to know that, even as a last resort, it should be avoided where possible - but incidents like this make me want to blind the bastids responsible. :y

Hope you get the car reinstated without too much expense. 8)

Ever, ever so luckily, literally 99% has come out with a polisher, no one would know thanks the lord. Mind you using a polisher early in the morning in sub 3 degrees temperatures is something I don't want to do again  ;D

Upon further inspection, they taken a big chunk out of one of my brand new 20" alloys and taken a slight nick out of one of the brand new rear tyres >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
