Miggy to the rescue
« on: 14 March 2008, 19:52:17 »

Was out and about with one of my friends in his Laguna today.
When a few streets away from my house, his offside driveshaft decided to give up, losing all drive, on an A road with no parking bays or laybys!

Since I only live a short distance, I ran the half mile or so back to the house, picked up the miggy, and raced back to the stranded frog.

I attached the towpole and pulled his car back to mine.

Unfortunately, I had to give him my car to use so he could make his job tonight.

No wonder miggy's make great tow cars, I didn't even feel any major struggle towing a Laguna.

Only trouble is, I know he likes my Miggy, will I get to see it again? :-?

They are not bad at being towed either ::)

Actually, Mrs TheBoy did comment after the 'oil slick' incident in the tractor, that when she towed me home (in the MV6) how she didn't notice the tractor behind.

You're very trusting I would have given him my pushbike!!   ;D ;D ;D

Took me 6 months before I let SWMBO drive the meega, but by thatg time I have well and truely marked my territory all over it.  Downside is I have to buy her a new beemer next month....   :-?
