I've heard many people say that those who throw themselves under trains are selfish. It's a common viewpoint and I don't think it's such a big deal to repeat it.

Why are we now seemingly unable to say anything without someone reading in some non-existent malicious intent.  ::) ::) ::)

I had a friend who drove trains and had a suicide happen to him. Just stood there and waited.
Suffered for over a year with PTSD and even after returning to work would tell of still being able to see the guys "smiling" face as it hit the train. Gives me the shivers.
He died almost two years ago of a heart attack, 45, will never be sure if it was connected.
He always thought it was selfish

it is bloody selfish  no thought for the poor sod driving the train

Can't disagree with that, Millwall.
