You don't tend to get much benefit on a naturally aspirated engine.

Had a 3 litre MV6 that was chipped.  Happy with the results but, as always, you get nowt for nowt.  Theres only so many horses can be released per lump of fuel.....

More to be gained from the turbo'd diesels, than the naturally aspirated petrols, for the reasons above.  You don't say which yours is ;)

its all about the torque increase on the v6's ;) 40nm or so from a map and 12/13bhp....add 3.0 cams to that vs standard on a 2.5/2.6 and thats basically a 3.0 maybe 3.2

Having owned a superchipped 2.5 with 3l cams at the same time as a 3.0l, I can tell you a (respected) chipped 2.5 with 3.0l cams isn't anywhere near a 3.0.

Additionally, it would appear, not as robust either ::)  :-[
