I have always believed that the £60 jobbies are endorsable, and I know that a breach of C&U regs where lighting is concerned never used to carry points....I guess that's changed now so they can screw us for a little bit more  :(

Not always endorsable -

Play fair, and it often ends at paying the fine, and you have to take it on the chin that you have been a muppet, got caught, and are now (another) £60 lighter in the pocket.

If it keeps us safe, and keeps the Police on the street, then I have no problem with it.

I think there should be a £60 fine for fitting blue lights to the outside of your house, too.

I find any flashes of blue light on the road distracting. I start wondering what I've done wrong now where the ambulance is coming at me . ;)
