What would cause this on a 2.2 dti
« on: 30 October 2011, 19:31:50 »

im driving on the motor way at 70mph (of course)in 5th gear and i have to slow down for whatever the reason and the revs drop to around 1000-1500rpm and i put foot back on the gas the car seems to miss a beat or to when the revs get back upto 2000rpm then its fine again its not causing a problem driving the car its just one of them things that buggs me
there are no faults stored as the engine light never comes on when it does it
what the heck is it ????

would guess at sticky wastegate on turbo, i.e off pedal turbo wastegate opens until the throttle is applied again, if its sticky it will take time to shut properly so the turbo can boost,

having said that the reason i didnt like the 2.2dti i bought was the poor throttle response always seemed to be a bit sluggish to do what you wanted it to do!!

Hello! I have the same problem, but to me it behaves in step 1 the speed and acceleration after a big break, explode at 2500-3000 rpm, I have error code P0400, I checked the EGR is good, all electric valvs (solenoid) are good, boost sensor is good, good air flow meter, but I noticed that after a diagnosis decreases the amount of air measured after 40 seconds from 450-250 but the 2.2 diesel tis2000 writes that should stay between 350 -450, vectra b 2.0 diesel only write that you have to drop after 40 seconds at 250 ... I have omega B 2.0 engine and software for 2.2 diesel.

I cleaned everything! EGR sensor, pressure sensor, maf, check solenoids, solenoid I replaced the code 24435269 and so I make it a little better but if I go slowly appears p0400 (2)...
