Mini facelift to facelift
« on: 15 January 2012, 13:37:44 »

Is it possible to convert the front end of  a mini facelift Omega to a facelift omega?
From what i've seen it looks like i'll need a facelift bumper and bonnet, and maybe make some changes to the trim around the headlight, which looks like part of the wing in the pics i've seen.

Anyone tried this??
Cheers

It has been done, there were photo's years ago on the forum showing a converted car. You'll need facelift headlights too.  :y

But if you wanted your car to look like an Astra G ....... just buy an Astra G  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Not entirely straightforward. You can just change the bumper, bonnet and lights, but then the styling is all wrong, so you need to change the door strips and the rear bumper.

Bonnet, scuttle panel (with washer jets), headlights, H/L undertrims, bumper, washerbottle nozzle (unless bottle is different too)
