boot spoiler
« on: 23 January 2012, 23:12:53 »

battery died while the other half was driving. as usual in the most impossible spot ever. nipper was in the back, so it was suggested he get out and push to a more suitable position.

came back with the boot spoiler in his hand..

the old sikaflex is all on the boot, will it come off of is it best just to apply new sealant and apply hopefully in the same position?

What year omega? has it ripped the 2 screws out of the corners of the spoiler???
if it has maybe best to re stick with a flexable instant grab adesive using masking tape to secure it while it sets,
is the sealer they used rubbery like silicon or rock solid like filler or foam???
because standard it was held on only with double sided tape & the 2 screws....
