Well i got back no problem from doncaster, on £17 of diesel too as it was all the money i had left . not bad for a 120 mile journey.

Van was what i expected. No worse but no better. Only bonuses were the tyres clutch and gearbox are good and he had all the invoices for the work done.

Started a few jobs when i got back. Fixed the rear door handle so it now opens and sanded off the bits of rust just coming through on the arches, Kurust treated, sanded again and primed ready for paint tomorrow. Levels all ok but due an oil and filter as it hasnt been done for 14k.

Just needs a very good valet which i will do monday.

Well after 400 miles the clutch has started to slip. Drove back from Stoke today and by the time I got back could barely do 40 without it slipping. Thought cable may have been sticking but its fine. Going to limp it to Pete to have a new clutch and thrust barring fitted
