« on: 07 February 2012, 14:14:00 »

if I take both CID and NCDC radio from same car and install them to another car they will work without Tech programming,
But if I want later unpair them can it be done if I know donor car's security code , or must car's and radios sec code be same  before I can unpair them ??

To save any future problems, (and there will be some trust me,)

Depair correctly from the donor car with Tech2 before transplanting into new car.

Yes, as long as no telematics involved. Additionally, the configurations need to be the same - Bose, wheel size, engine, gearbox, headlights etc etc.

Donor car is not driveable anymore so it can't be depaired , so can depairing be done in another car if pairing code is known ???

Whats the issue with Telematics TB, ie If I took out  paired 2015, CID and Telematics with known code and replaced with 2013 and paired CID also with known code?

Think TB means if you move Telematics, CID/GID, NCDC to another vehicle you will need to build yourself a Telematics Sub loom.

Yes, if all parts of the system are complete (NCDxxxxx, the CDC3, the display, and the telematics)

Complications with telematics is that telematics must be kept with its associated parts, and the loom changes needed (either to fit or to remove (and replace with bluetooth kit))
