It has been one of those days in the office

Today I had to contact a couple of Gay helplines.......in the course of my duties :P :P :P

First one, fine, helpful chap. Second one, introduced myself and explained why I was calling his first words were 'all right my love' discussion, during which he managed to get into the conversation that he had been 'round the block' his parting words on my ending the call with a Thank You was 'OK love'..................... ::) ::) ::)

After this conversation and my discussion in the office I was presented with a handful of extra strong condoms from next door office... ::) ::) ::)

Something like that, been a long week this week.....off Monday and Tuesday so a bit of a long weekend, school holidays next week, as you know, so should be lively by the end of the week.... :D :D :D

Oh yes, always good to liven things up!  I do miss interesting work, slightly bored of ''normal childcare'' now.  The NHS learning disability call outs were always good for a dose of insanity.

Oracle finally got me a working replacement blade for the one that failed mid December, so I've had an exciting "will it or won't it work" week ;D

Why were you having to call those then Mike?  :-\

For me it was a good week, I was mentioned in department meeting and given £150 Amazon voucher, if only that happened every week!  :D

Perhaps he's ... exploring? ;)

My day was the usual - the down side of working for a Seattle based company being that if there is some emergency that needs action right now it'll be at 5pm my time when Seattle is waking up.. grump. Still, I suppose that's why they pay me what they do ;D

Gadget Insurance website, I've developed for an insurance company finally launched this week, after lots of minor bug fixing where I've also done a major upgrade to their back office system. They are getting good sales already, so it will do well.  :y

The final testing, bug fixing and providing the 'final coat of polish' to the product I always find very tedious, but it has to be done.
