Grumpy starting, no codes.
« on: 19 February 2012, 13:56:41 »

Had this on my old car and now this one. Same 3.2 engine. Except this time in cold weather.

Hadn't used It for a couple of days due to man flue and 3days off work. Jumped in it in a hurry, key in and started, running lumpy. Took no notice what so ever as It does this occasionally, and drove off. Throttle response fine, no other issues.

Thought later occurred, was I too quick with the key and not allowing the fuel pressure to prime before cranking the starter? I was in a hurry. If it took more than .25 of a second from key in to engine running I'd be suprised. Well, you see what I mean. ESP if it's been stood for a while.

Fuel pressure should remain high in the injector rail, and be quickly replenished by pump.

Mine is *REALLY* shitty on LPG idle currently, even when up to temp.  Still can't get hold of Teilo.

injector socket, injector rail pressure /pressure drop, ignition relays would be at top of my checklist..

ps: I installed an additional checkvalve in fuel tank (feed ) during my old problem which shorten starting period..
