sky is just a rip off in my opinion if i could get something else i would  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Sky is a business out to make money, its not public funded. You want it, pay for it!
Why didn't you tell us about sky go for android?  Smacky botty from uncle Rupe. ;D

Because any time I try and mention helpful things, it just turns into a slag fest of ihatesky.com
They are a very cleaver bunch aren't they Tunnie. Not only do they not even have sky, not only do they consequently not have access to the sky f1 channel, but the rather programmes and f1 season haven't even started yet, and they all know everything there is to now about sumat they don't have, cant see, and have a crystal ball to somehow predict the future event. Wow.

So who's going to win in Aus then? As we all know so much! ;D

Such a question surely implies there will be a race, and we all know that the FIA, in association with the Primadona poofters who drive, banned racing years ago.

I agree that watching the capabilities of what man and machine can achieve is impressive. But we need to decide if its a time trial or a race.

Indeed, how could I possibly think of such a ridiculous idea as racing. Sorry.

I do think the races are too long, being honest. But that's the only concession you'll get out of me.

Maybe people are pissed off because they hate repeating themselves when on the phone to the NO helpline tech support in Mumbai, or maybe they are tired of taking it up the arse financially while the same tired old crap is rerun approximately every 3 months.

Virgin are no different of course, but at least you don't get charged as much for putting up with it.

But unlike the BBC tax, sorry "TV License" - You get a choice, don't want it? Don't pay it.

I doubt I would actually pay for Sky now, if I did not get it all for free.  :)

Absolutely correct (except you can avoid paying TV Licence - just throw away the telly ;D), people have a choice.

Even with some of the outstanding offers you've offered, its still overpriced for me.  I'm sure those who pay it can justify the price to themselves, but I couldn't TBH. Each to their own.

Pay TV has ruined TV sport, IHMO, by firstly making it a premium service, thus taking it away from many young lads/lasses who may take it up after seeing it. Secondly, by putting too much money into the sport, and all the problems that presents - this is why, I suspect, the professional football leagues will be much smaller in 10yrs time.

When I used to fix phones, the 'well to do' estates didn't have a dish on every house.  But the run-down community housing estates, where everyone was on benefits, all had Sky (Analogue back then) and big (CRT or rear projection) tellys.

You might want to re-think whether you can justify the money for Sky with you new-found crippledom though :-X ::)

I must admit, I really should cut ours back to the minimum but every time I think about it some good films come on ::)

We can only justify it (to an extent) because we don't go out to the Cinema or hire/buy films very often, if at all. We don't actually go out that much (sounds sad :-[) because we prefer to have people over/visit people rather than spending a fortune at a pub ;)

BBC showing highlights of all races later that day, I've got virgin, we have to have sky sports 1 to 4 to get the F1 channel. Looks good from the ads they keep giving us, hopefully the channel will go 3D too. :y
you will have to pay extra for that as norm with sky :y :y :y

3D channel is free to all HD customers....
but you still have to pay for crap hd which i found no different than normal tv another sky rip off well thats my opinion :y :y :y :y :y

It is, its far superior resolution. News HD you can easily see from all extra graphics you get. Richard Attenborough stuff is stunning in HD. Skin/Face textures are much more defined, its not my fault most of you here are old farts and practically blind anyway  ;D

Yet again your saying its a rip off, we know! You've said it on every Sky related thread, change the record  ::)
