Plug Lead /Dis pack Test
« on: 13 March 2012, 14:29:12 »

Most things electrical are beyond my capabilities so take it slowly with me guys. ;D

Is there any way of testing each individual plug lead and also the dis pack when these are removed from the car ?

Would like to be able to atleast know what has been the cause of a mis fire.

Thanks for kind offer MF. :y

I actually do have a brand new bosch dis pack I bought several years ago sat in the shed and have just acquired a set of Beru plug leads so hopefully I have all bases covered. ;D

Just wanted to know how you go on about testing these things to see if they really are busted as don,t want to be throwing away good parts, not that I am tight  ;) .

Have read you can do a multimeter test on the leads as should be a resitsance of around 4k ohms per foot on leads but didn,t understand how you can do the same on the dis pack.
