Good break :)
« on: 09 April 2012, 22:28:34 »

Well we is back from the 5 day break .. and if anyone is looking for things to do in the Yeovil area of Somerset I highly recommend both the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton and the Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford.

FAA is very well done .. even though it is based on "Fisheads" and not real aviators ... needs a good 4/5 hours to do it justice.

Haynes Museum is undergoing a major refurb but is still good, cars are a little close due to reduced space, but once finished it should be excellent....  some fantastic cars there ... needs about 2/3 hours.

According to the "ladies" .. retail therapy in nearby Yeovil is "poor" .. which means they found nothing to spend money on..despite walking in and out of shops for 4 hours .. we did find a good pub for  lunch and a pint though .. :)
