Towbar socket? The fog swithc in socket usually results in most peculiar lightning problems.

I think that's the most spelling errors I've seen in a post in a while!  :o

Have you checked to see if your fog lights are working?

I assume you do not mean me? Only one typo in my post, which I will be now correcting  :D Some picky people  :D :D

I will also be more clear: at least in our country several trailer sockets have a switch to disconnect cars fogs when towing in order not to have it glowing in between car and trailer.

Some folks on here like spelling etc to be done well. I think it's great that someone from Finland can post better English than the English. I found the hidden towing connector today when I was working on my car and came to the conclusion that a switch in place of the link could be used for that purpose. Thanks for confirming my idea.

Thanks  :y

Most common thing causing rear fog problems. Esp here where we have enough of different temperatures and weather, -40 to + 40, snow for several months of a year, salted motorways etc... One of the annual riituals to replace the towbar socket due corroded contacts and especially this fog switch.

That's very interesting.

I did some work with GM Finland (National Sales Company) back the the late 80s. We put all GM dealerships on line to Opel. See if you can guess how much bandwidth the used to support the whole of Finland?  ;D

Indeed :-X :-X ::) ::)

Changing that bulb won't cure it. Check what bulbs are working when the fault shows but I expect it will be a wiring fault in the boot somewhere
