BBC & F1
« on: 21 April 2012, 20:07:26 »

This is a complaint I have sent to the BBC >:( >:( self explanatary >:(

Full Complaint: Losing live coverage of F1 was bad enough but while waiting for the highlights of the Bahrain qualifying session to be broadcast at 17.20 and watching the Football Results across the screen showing the football results come up the results of the F1 Qualifying. No warning !THANK YOU FOR SPOILING THE HIGHLIGHTS!!! Please shoot the idiot responsible in front of Jeremy Clarkson. ;D :y

They have just spent at least £200 million (BBC figures) or up to £1 billion (tabloid figures) on relocating much of their operations to Manchester for no other reason than to stop the corporation being so Londoncentric.Even paying for staff to either fly up there and back for work, or paying extremely generous relocation packages for them to move up there (would be understandable if the move was the other way round).......................so,after they blow whats left in the piggy bank on completely over the top coverage of a load of drug addicts running around a track in Stratford this summer,I doubt they will have any  money left to cover a club meet from Brands Indy circuit never mind F1.
Its run by a bunch of breakwits.Abolish the TV licence tomorrow. >:(

Trouble is BBC is saving little money (apart from Martins & Teds pay) still costs them the same to haul the tons of equipment they use at each race. Looking at way things are going, they are in trouble in all departments.

Having said all that,I have read a couple of press reviews which said that the Beebs coverage of F1 is still better than Sky. I wouldnt know. :-\

Not today though. 1 hour highlights programme, start of race 13 minutes into the programme, rather disgraceful. >:(

Shape of the future I am afraid. We will all pay for whatever we do or watch by duration. Might be that if we are lucky then we may only have to pay to watch highlights.

Search the internet, all skys pay channels are available to watch for free, sadly watched sky sports 2 on Saturday. Plugged laptop in to TV and watched in full screen, bit of lag at times but hey ho.

Crap resolution though, each one is shut down one by one. £5/m too much for some people?  :o  ;D
