Keyfob not working
« on: 24 April 2012, 08:41:10 »

I'm learning some electrics and therefore I'd like to have some advice. I have replaced the covers/button sides of my both keys. The other key has always worked ok, the others remote never. Buttons are ok and working. New battery in. Power from battery going to circuit board (can measure continuity and voltage at buttons). The red led still does not light up. What might this be? Is the only solution to source a new remote? Are 2nd hand ones of any use?

If I remember correctly, if the battery has been removed you have to re pair the keyfob with the car.
Have a look at the link bellow  :y
