omega 2.6 estate

hi i have an omega 2.6 v6 estate.i donot use the car everyday but when i do decide to use it the battery is flat. i dont get a warning light and i have brought a new battery but it still goes flat.help

NO MODIFICATIONS ONLY A TOW BAR. CAN GO FLAT FROM FULLY CHARGED TO FLAT WITHIN A WEEK.

Just a friendly pointer, capitals on forum posts are considered as shouting, please don't use them  :y

Are you sure its charging correctly?

Have you put a volt meter on it? Get some reads of off/idle and with say 3k revs?

Thats not what I meant, have you run volt meter across it with engine running?

Its possible the alternator is not giving it enough power.

With engine running, I believe it should give around 14.4v ish. If its not, the alternator is tired  :y
