nice of you all to ask I appreciate it .  MUM is in a lot of pain ,even though the bump wasn't a really hard one when you have marcina gravis (sp) and rheumatoid arthritis any kind of knock is going to hurt . All Mum can do is rest . My efforts to find the woman have so far failed, but watch this space  ;) ;)

Have you informed the police ?? she is guilty of leaving the scene of an accident at the least ...  Police may be able to help with CCTV access  ??

I agree speak to the police again and tell them you will take it further if you are not satisfied with their efforts....

Sorry but this is where the lazy police officers really p!sses me off, it brings the other harder working ones down.

just got back from my mums ,
the shunt caused a flare up of a current condition, while not particularly nice the accident didn't cause the initial problem so the police aren't concerned.
 Id also like to thank every one for their concern and comments . my
Mum is very touched by the kindness the forum has shown
