Well

Having had my guy read the codes as stated earlier, forgot to mention he did pull some bits off & put them back again. yes, I know that's vague, but I know less than nothing about engines. His first suggestion was also MAFF sensor, but he wasn't convinced hence the post on here.

However, since then it's been perfect, so guessing it was just loose or had shite in it?

And he does normally know what's what straight away, was just unwilling to spend £140 of my money without being sure!

Fair I thought.... :y

Still playing silly buggers, but seems to be only when under a 1/4 tank of fuel, keeping it over that makes it behave.

I'm thinking fuel pump, any opinions for/against?

C0uld be dispack ... that would give intermittent performance similar to MAf sensor going ... I had the same on mine ...codes were saying MAF but it turned out to be dispack and by the time I got it out you could clearly see it was buggered... so if you have a spare 2 hours and don't want to waste any more dosh you could take out the dispack and check it

although the evidence with the extra fuel in the tank points away from that ... Blocked fuel filter/ fuel pump ???...I would still check the dispack

3.2 doesnt have dispack, has a coil pack per bank.worth doing the usual visual checks of coil packs, plug wells etc. Depending on service history, may be worth changing plugs, fuel filter etc.
Ideally a tech2 session to save on guesswork. Did I give you a number for a bloke local to you ?
