Ghost in the machine (well stereo)
« on: 21 June 2012, 00:18:04 »

I notice that sometimes when I start the FL MV6 in the morning (not at night or during the day as much) the radio powers itself up on ignition and selects track 4 of CD 4 - or tries too, even if there is no disk in. Otherwise it (if it is assigned / stored) locks on to FM or LW preset 4!!!!! I've heard of 666, but 444?!!

Does'nt do it that often so as to bug, it's actually kind of anthropomorphic! It'll be going soon anyway, but I've always wondered?!!

Usually a sign of low battery voltage if it happens overnight, or if it does it during the day, the internal Eeprom is dying.

OK now I'm miffed! The radio in this new MV6 comes on untuned sometimes, even when the stations are still in memory!? Take it the 2006 isn't the most reliable of units then?!
