Upgrade GID to A MID

I want to replace the basic GID to a MID on my GLS DTi mainly for the fuel consumption, range feature. Anyone have any ideas what I will need?

GIDs only fitted to Elites ;)

GID is half height screen used with NCDC201x.

GLS come with TIDs

Should add, there have been a few posts about the conversion recently, taxi al and Sam Burton IIRC

Its a bit painfull Pete as you need to fool all the sensors. if its post 2001 easier to go down the ODB bluetooth route and pick up a smart phone or satnav app for MPG Trip etc.
