Managed 240 from a tank to empty. Most odd. Travelling during evening rush hour keeping speeds down I guess.

...and no, I haven't worked out the gay figures of gay fuel consumption, as that would be gay! ;D

Yours is an 80L isn't it? :-\

That sounds quite thirsty to me.

3.2 manual saloon emits 258g/km

My 3.2 Manual emits a bit more than that Josh, due to the extra weight of having to carry LPG tank around in the Boot.

I reckon less than 250 to a tank is in the 16-17mpg mark. 300 to a tank is > 20mpg

As you know, I keep accurate figures for mine for the benefit of OOFers considering LPGing.  Must post up the stats again soon

It won't make Keswick on one tank, so will have to fill up no matter what. So why bugger about? :)

I need to fill up in the morning, as its empty again. The should get me to Rheged (on A66, about 1m off the M6) easily.  Morrisons at Leyland (about 1m off M6) is normally cheap.

On way back, Keele services on M6 near Stoke is 70.9p, but LPG only available southbound, not northbound.

Leyland - Keswick is just under 100 miles,  so a fill up there should last until the same place on the way home !! At least it did with the 'van on the back .. so should do easily without it !!, thats my plan anyway .. :)

not to put too fine a point on this....

you get how far on what size tank??

and how much does LPG fuel cost ?

coz the numbers being thorn around do not sound nay cheaper than running my 3.2 Mv6 on normal petrol....

I filled up tonight on the way up the A1 after 217 miles (and they weren't gentle miles either :-X ::)) for about £35.50. And it was a "short(ish) fill which always seems worse than completely emptying the tank. Had I been running on petrol I would have been paying closer to £55/60 from my experiences ;)

I have a 76L tank that actually takes about 64L from empty... Think I put about 55L in :-\

That saw me running across country at my end due to traffic, then sustained drive at  :-X leptons across the A14 and A1, plus some more fast roads across to Nottingham and back. Wasn't hanging about... I think we did the run up in just over 5 hours including detours and stops (one of which was for about 45 mins to scoff and feed the hound :y

I do colwyn bay, and back,  on a single tank if i'm being tolerably license friendly.....   trip times about 2h.45m - 3h. each way.,

filling up to the brim,  on super duper unleaded first...    costs about £100 ish

mileage is about 200 each way

i have done it a non disclosed figure  under 2.30 ;) , but it definitely used a LOT more fuel.....  3/4 tank in a single direction journey....
