My missus WILL kill me!!

Where I bought the new n/s headlamp today they had a set of 3.0 cams for £100..........guess what is sitting next to the 3.0 polished and modded throttle body, new cam cover gaskets and o-rings and camshaft seals?!?!?!?!??!?!!?

Next payday or possibly in the new year I'm going to get a cam belt kit and FSE boost valve. If possible looking for helpers to get this project finished.

Breakfast, lunch (and supper if need be) stellas and JD on me

How about this then EP

Plan A :- Get Mark to do some cams, get Robin Hood to make a DVD of it. Buy DVD. Tell Mrs EP your going to Santo Podi, pick me up on way( although you would have to sort out that dodgy aeriel first) drive down to Essex, help Andy, Hey Presto....... Stella JD and Breakfast :y

Plan B :- Stop Dreaming ::)

From the measurements I did today......the 3.0 and 2.5 throttle bodies have the same size butteflys....

It cost me a whopping £30 and I took my little polishing mops to various bits...not too smooth as I believe a bit of turbulence is good. Not sure if I was having my leg pulled but the 3.0 item is a slightly larger bore? ? ?

Reminds me of a foreman fitter where I used to work.
He had a toolkit that was arranged in weights from toffie to sledge and a screwdriver made from a bit of power hacksaw blade ground down and wrapped in insulation tape for a handle.
I was told this guy used to work on Spitfires during the war, "Who for I asked the bloody Luftwaffe?"

FSE valve will be an absolute waste of money, if you are desperate for extra pressure get a standard 3.8 regulator from a saab v6 or a 2.6omega etc, it should be cheaper and straight forward to fit. Personally i wouldn't bother though, there is no much gain.
