MOT fail
« on: 12 July 2012, 17:01:04 »

Took my car for an early MOT and was expecting it to fail, as you do. I suspected it would fail on wishbones/dounut bushes/handbrake/tyres but it failed on offside front tyre which supposedly had a deep cut. No other advisories.  ;D

Coincidentally, I overheard a telephone call where a customer was advised that their car also failed due to a tyre and another customer who was waiting for her certificate had new tyres fitted with her new MOT. Did I mention this outfit also fit tyres? Did I also mention that I happen to be a bit paranoid?

Many advisories on tyres inc mine that were just above the legal limit on the rears ... Easy fix for you though  :y

Got the Beemer ticketed today, that's now 26 vehicles in 19 years that have successfully passed first time  :)

It was a easy fix but was a PITA because two reasonably priced tyre fitters didn't have the size in stock, my own fault really, I have short arms and deep pockets.

This is the only car I have owned to go through an MOT first time (last year).
