2.2i 16v - Z22XE Exhaust Silencer Rear With Tail Pipe; Saloon; Ident EM 9157100
2.5i 24v V6 - X25XE Exhaust Silencer Rear With Tail Pipe; Saloon; Ident EM; (Ch.>) Y1000001 9157100
Only difference with the 3.0 & 3.2 is the twin outlet & as said, F/L`s are slightly longer overall to accommodate the deeper bumper

If you want a twin outlet Proz, the V6 backbox is the same
2.5 & 3.0 from a pre-facelift will need the chrome extenders due to deeper F/L bumper. 2.6 & 3.2, no trim needed but only the 3.2 will have the twin outlet ( and obviously the 3.0 also)

It doesn't need any extender; I'd argue that mine looks better witha pre-facelift back box simply because there aren't any ugly pipes protruding past the bumper.

I have a standard 3.2 estate one in the shed you could borrow for sizing?   Need it back though as it will replace the irmscher one on the car when it comes time to sell it.

Estate back box won't fit saloon - op has a saloon  ;)

Sorry H i just spotted your message just now ... didnt see them before .
I've found out i may have a friend of a friend who works in a garage so im going to go see him and ask if he can order a 3.2 facelift saloon back box to see if it'll fit .
Vx and Quik Fit and several exhaust suppliers on the phone have given next to no info on wether it will fit or not  :-\... I dont want to buy one online to end up stuck with it if its a no go , so hopefully my garage friend of a friend will order one with no strings attached if it wont fit .
The Vx guy i spoke to was very vauge as to wether it would fit or not ... didnt say no but didnt say yes either , only said it might be to short as its 10cm shorter than the proper one for mine .
Just need a day off work to go and see him so hopefully the begining of next week  :y

2.5 back box is the same as the 2.2. V6 centre boxes are all the same. 3.2 backbox fits a 2.5,2.6 & 3.0, so it must follow that all V6 backboxes fit the 2.2.............seemples :)

But today i recieved this
VAU6030 .... grrrr links not working properly .

Its for a 1994/2001 Estate but they seem to think its the right part despite sending pics .

They seem to think im wrong and they are right  and the other one ( the one i ordered VAU6031) wont fit anyway :-\

Well finally thats the exhaust done ... took the car this morning to have the back box fitted after the correct one ordered came on Monday but I didnt have a day off till today .
Turns out the middle sections were holed as well  :'( . Mind you they have been on the car since i bought it 5 years ago and not sure how long they had been on before then so not too bad i suppose.
The twin tailpipe does look better and gives the exhaust a nice tone without being any louder .
Hopefully this exhaust will out last the cars remaining life now  :y
The place that sent the wrong exhaust said they dont want it back and i can do what i like with it as they have been credited with the cost from who ever they got it from. Bit weary of that statement though ...... What should i do with an exhaust for an estate thats no good to me ?
