head gasket?

i have an oil leak from somewhere up around the coil pack area,i done the cam covers today an its still leaking but only with the car running,could it be the head gasket leaking out and running down?

No, but could be the oil cooler seal leaking...or the cam covers still leaking...

Yep, double check that th rear half moon par of the gasket is in properly and need you use sealent on the bends by the halfmoon?????

There are specific places and only specific places you need to put the sealant on...not 100% sure what those places are...just the corners?? Just around the points where the bolts secure the cam cover??? And dont over tighten the covers...and did you use genuine Vaux gaskets and sealant?

no not genuine vx,but still good ones,but never put sealer on,so i suppose it could be that

Genuine Vauxhall Cam Cover Gaskets are far better than patterned ones.... Sealer goes in the semi circle at the back and on the 90 degree bends :y

last ones i put on didnt leak tho,an didnt put sealer on with them either,wen i say a leak,i mean topping up the oil twice a week,thats how bad it is,when we bought the car it had been overfilled with oil,i mean i drained a gallon off it an it was still above the top mark,would that do any damage?
