Airbag light on
« on: 02 August 2012, 08:57:39 »

Still a newbie in terms of posts but have used the maintenance guides to keep my omega serviced(with the help of a brother who is more suited to getting his hands dirty!). Anyway I would really appreciate some advice - The airbag light on my omega has been on for the last couple of months - seems it came on after the wife reclined her seat on trip to Yorkshire. Checked all connections under seat as per instructions but MOT is due so I was wondering is it just a case of getting a tech 2 to reset it or do I have a more serious problem.

If it's a Tech 2 is there anyone in the Kingston upon Thames/Surrey area?

Thanks

A chat with a Tech 2 will show up what the fault is that's brought the light on, and will be able to reset the light if the fault no longer exists.

I think the closed forum member with a Tech2 to you would be Kevin Woods, just down the road in Hampshire.  :y

I would just like to complete this post with a hearty thank you to Kevin for his time and efforts on Saturday - cleared the offending light then followed that up with a complete check of the car, even finding time to fix a split hose at the back of the engine.
Finally, car passed MOT this morning to complete another successful post - Cheers to Kevin, Twiglet and Theboy

Regards
