i dont get any full stop! ;D ;D ;D thank god!

It might have something to do with the fact that to get credit these days is getting harder due to the budget and interest rates!

Don't worry you will soon start to get them again. If the bank of England really prints all that money to loan (give) to the private banks, they will soon be pushing us all to have more credit again.
I believe this is what nazi Germany did in the 1920s and 1930s.(print money)

This is going to all end in tears.

I stopped getting mail shots some years back .......  :)

Methinks the CC companys got fed up of having to pay for other CC mail shots .....  :)

System is ..

mail shot monday .. keep ....
mail shot tuesday, remove return envelope, place mondays mail shot in...  post without stamp,
mail shot wednesday, remove return envelope, place tuesdays mail shot in...  post without stamp,

etc etc etc .. :)

They go straight in the bin, so I wouldn't notice if there were less of them.

I've nearly finished loan payments at last. ALL Credit Card/ loan apps get shredded except for prepaid envelopes which i send back empty because i'm childish!!! I last held a Capitol one visa card when applying for my mortgage. Was going to pay it off & let it lapse but was told it helped my credit score so kept it going until completion.
Once loans are paid will only have debit card & mortgage.
As regards the credit squeeze, i sympathize with anyone struggling to keep thier house but i bought my 3 bed semi 6yrs ago for £39,950, now worth £95+ I only owe £36k so whilst on a small scale no equity worries & low repayments.
Having said that i only take home £400 to £450 a week so it's all relative. That's often for 55ish hrs. & a night or two out.
