Air in fuel system. 2.2 dti
« on: 12 September 2012, 19:43:06 »

Hi, It seems to that air is getting in the fuel system, it is very difficult to start after being parked for a number of hours. I have had this problem before. I have had a good look at the pipes and there is a slight leak where the pipe clips into the fuel filter housing (outlet) are new seals available to cure this problem?

Not examined them in detail but I know the OEM pipes are a hard plastic style which are heat / vacuum formed onto the connectors.

I would expect there is an O ring or similar in the connector that could be replaced?
